Hey Edmonton, let's set a world record!

Nuit Blanche is an international art festival that is coming to Edmonton for the first time September 26 and we're super excited as things are starting to ramp up for the big event.

To help spread the word, Nuit Blanche Edmonton is going to try and set a world record by taking a “dronie” of the world's biggest map marker made out of people.

We will be inviting our partners, sponsors and the general public to come together for the record setting event. There will be an open call for team captains who will be inviting 10 other people to the event. With enough team captains we hope to collect a lot of people.

Once there we will quickly organize ourselves into the world's biggest map marker for our quadcopter to video shoot from above!

What the heck is a "dronie" you say? Well, its a selfie video taken with a drone (or quadcopter). So, Selfie + Drone = Dronie.

The first 500 people will be getting special Nuit Blanche shirts for free some come early! We hope to get as many people as possible so please spread the word!

5:30pm - 7:00pm at Churchill Square.
To guarantee your spot at the event we advise everyone to come early!

5:30pm - Sign in, get your free Nuit Blanche shirt, find your team leader and organize into the map marker

6:00pm - Shoot the overhead video with the quadcopter

7:00pm - Wrap up
