The Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton is pleased to invite the community to join us for an evening of awareness raising, hope and healing, with honorary chair Sarah Chan. On Wednesday, February 11, 2015, SACE is hosting “It Takes Two”, a Valentine's Day themed fundraising event at the Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel.
This is an opportunity for the community to come together in support of those who have been impacted by sexual violence, and to demonstrate our commitment to standing up against this crime which affects so many. The evening will include a reception and international buffet dinner, inspiring musical performances and guest speakers, a live auction, and a special SACE video release, as well as our “From the Heart”-themed silent auction.The goal of the evening is to raise awareness about the impact of sexual violence in our community, to celebrate the strength and resiliency of survivors, and to demonstrate our collective commitment to creating a future without sexual violence.
Please help us create a world where sexual violence is not tolerated, where survivors are celebrated for their strength and resiliency, and where everyone is actively working towards a future without sexual violence.
Online tickets sales open January 5th. Table sales and advance tickets are available through the fall.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
It Takes Two is an all-ages event.
What is the Dress Code?
Festive, Semi-Formal, Cocktail style attire is appropriate.
Is this event accessible?
Yes! The Coast Plaza Hotel has two elevators out of the main lobby for guests to access the event on the second floor.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Coast Plaza Hotel has an adjacent parkade with access to the hotel on the ground level. Outdoor parking is available across the street at the Impark lot, and limited street parking is also available.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Limited photogrpahy and videography are welcomed.
I have dietary restrictions - will there be food I can eat?
The buffet will include a selection of vegan and gluten-free options to ensure that guests with these restrictions can still enjoy a full meal.
