It's time to bring out the beast and put your best formal costume on for a night of hip swinging, upbeat Steampunk music, costumes and drinking with creatures from the unknown...
The Official Edmonton Steampunk Group, local steampunk shop "AtticRaiders" and local costuming company "The Theatre Garage" proudly present the 2014 Steampunk Ball with a costuming twist - Monsters.
This November 1st, 2014 at the ATB Financial Arts Barns - Westbury Theater located in Edmonton, AB Canada, getting dressed in your formal Steampunk costume for a night of costuming fun is just the start! Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite horror, fantasy, sci-fi etc costume, a formal steampunk dress or an original monster in it's creative Steampunk attire.
Spinning live Swing/ Rockabilly/ fun tunes will be DJ @Scott Thomas , amusing you between the 40 minute music acts performed by Swing kings @Punch Drunk Caberat
There will be a costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of creative categories so be sure to make plans to be in your best costume for this event.
There will be a silent auction for some cool steampunk goodies. Keep tabs on the event page for the images of them.
Still need to find something Steampunk as the finishing touch for your costume? Would you like a hand with makeup?
This event proudly boasts its own shopping section with artists, authors and local businesses selling their Steampunk work for you to ogle and enjoy. Christmas shopping has never been this easy.
- A dress code will be in effect.
Please come in Black Tie/ Steampunk/ Monster attire for this event.

The Steampunk Ball is an evening that's sure to be a visually appealing affair and one that will keep you on the edge of your seat with the fantastic music line up, entertainment and other delights presented to you and hosted by the Edmonton Steampunks and our sponsors The Theatre Garage and #AtticRaiders.
