The People's Climate March Edmonton
Starts: Sunday, September 21

Ends: Sunday, September 21

On September 21st, the eve of a historic summit on climate change, people across the world will take to the streets in their hundreds and thousands to inspire the world's most powerful leaders to take ambitious action on the climate crisis.
With our future on the line and the world watching, we have the opportunity to meet this moment with unprecedented mobilizations in cities across the globe.
From New York to London and Delhi to Australia, we'll take to the streets to demand the world as we know is within our reach: a world with an economy that works for the people; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.
There is only one ingredient required: to change everything, we need everyone.
Event details: meet everyone at Sir Winston Churchill Square around 12:00pm. We are lining up speakers and guests that will share information about climate change and new technology. Don Iveson has been invited and we are hoping he comes so we can hand him our worldwide petition for leaders to step up and move towards 100% clean energy.
Between 3-4pm we will be marching towards the legislature grounds, where a provincial leader will talk to our mass of people! Around 6pm we will head back to Churchill square.
What to wear to support our climate event: the symbol of this event is a green heart. Put it on your cheeks, your cloths, get creative, the more green we see the more together we look as a crowd!
Food vendors and other information tents will be available to the public
