SRC 2014 - Spin a Circle: Poi Balls

Kelika will explore the science of circle geometry through the use of twirling and spinning the New Zealand poi balls. Discover the parts of a circle and how it can be manipulated to affect momentum and pattern. She will perform dances with short and long poi balls and share some interesting facts about the Maori culture. Children attending may also be given an opportunity to try spinning soft foam poi balls. 20 tickets available 15 minutes before program.

Large groups are encouraged to call ahead to discuss space availability.
