Edmonton Poetry Festival: The Red Gala

Poetry is a source of energy, entertainment and joy shared by all societies. The Edmonton Poetry Festival celebrates poetry in all its forms. We get people from across the city involved as creators and audiences. Doesn't matter what age you are, what culture you come from, or whether you fall for slam poetry or jump at reading the classics.

The Red Gala is a night of Erotic Poetry and Burlesque. This fun and frolicking celebration, for some 150 guests, is our 2nd annual Fundraiser, supporting our year-round work. Join us as we present poetry for lovers from Kimmy Beach, Jeanette Lynes, Steven Heighton, and Hugh McMillan and burlesque dancing from Capital City Burlesque.
