Mary, mother of Jesus, doesn't believe that her son was the son of God and refuses to co-operate with the writers of the gospels.

An installation and performance based on Colm Tbn's Man Booker short-listed novella The Testament of Mary. The piece combines elements of visual art, aural visions in auditory relief and performance to give a unique look into the Life of Christ according to Mary

Mary is under house arrest as her actual opinion is being shaped by her guardians. Tucked away in Ephesus after the death of her son, she shares her intimate reflections of her son's life and death. With a keen understanding of contemporary politics, she shares her pain, her sorrow, and her loneliness. In a candid moment, she calls the disciples "misfits" who.and she shares her eye witness account of the day Pilate handed Christ over to the people of Jerusalem.

The Thtre Archologique creates a theatre that is based on multi-layered strata to create an art that trades in fragments presented as distilled images.
