To mark the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination, Cult Cinema proudly presents what may be Oliver Stone's most impressive achievement, an epic conspiracy thriller based on the true story of the only trial brought in the assassination of the president. Kevin Costner plays real-life New Orleans DA Jim Garrison, who gets the conspiracy bee in his bonnet, leading him to businessman Clay Shaw (Tommy Lee Jones) and his dubious associates. Through an impressive barrage of mixed media, startling cinematography, and a who's-who cast of characters played by some of the most familiar faces of the era, JFK momentarily brought conspiracy theory into the mainstream.
