The inaugural Up+Downtown Music and Art Festival (UP+DT) is a multi-venue festival that celebrates independent music and art. The event is being held Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 at eight venues throughout downtown Edmonton. Shows occur from 2:00pm to 2:00am.

UP+DT 2013 is being produced by Rain Shadow Productions Ltd and sponsored in part by the Edmonton Arts Council, Yellowhead Brewery, Redbull Canada and YEGLive.ca.

Established in 2011, Rain Shadow Productions Ltd. is a registered nonprofit organization based in Edmonton, Alberta and dedicated to producing events that help strengthen appreciation for the arts throughout the province.
