Symphony Under the Sky: Carnival of the Animals

Join us for great music in the great outdoors at Hawrelak Park! Conductor Bob Bernhardt returns to lead the orchestra in five varied concerts over the 2013 Labour Day long weekend.

The Carnival of the Animals, complete with madcap narration, will delight the entire family at this performance that also features exciting music from Strauss, Mozart, and ESO Composer in Residence Robert Rival. The ESO's 2013 Young Composer Taran Plamondon will premiere a brand new piece before the festival finale featuring Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture - a tradition you don't want to miss!
