Spacing is one of the most unique magazines to appear on Canadian newsstands in years. The magazine uncovers the joys, obstacles and politics of Canada's big cities by cutting through the cynicism that often pervades any discussion about urban issues. Spacing pushes readers to think critically about how they can shape the public spaces that surround their everyday lives. And now Spacing is coming to Edmonton as part of the Spacing blog network.

Spacing Edmonton is kicking off with a launch party and photo contest. Tweet (@spacingedmonton) or facebook photos of your favourite Edmonton spaces to enter. Winners will take home a pair of tickets to the upcoming Pan Can Pecha Kucha (organized by NextGen, M.A.D.E., and Progress Unlimited for Fall 2013).
