Saturday will be packed full of family fun in Sir Winston Churchill Square. Activities will be happening throughout the Square as well as in City Hall. Mark your calendar for this full day of FREE family entertainment and fun!
Don't miss the FREE main stage entertainment all day long, with Canadian Country Music Star George Canyon taking the stage at 5:30 p.m. followed by spectacular fireworks!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
City Market Downtown – from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Free children's activities in the Cowpoke Corral – from 11:00 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Main stage entertainment – from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
George Canyon concert – starts at 5:30 p.m.
Take advantage of other great activities, including:
Warm-Up Tent – take the chill off in the heated tent with some hot beverages, snacks and stage with entertainment from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Loads of edutainment – live animals, working dog demonstrations, dance performances and more
Food vendors – everything from kettlecorn to hot dogs and beef on a bun
Mechanical bull - Try your hand at this wild ride!
Fireworks – start at approximately 7 p.m. and choreographed to some great country tunes, these fireworks are by far some of the best ones in the city!
CFR Street Team and T-Bone in the house! – Everyone's favourite urban cowboy and the official mascot of River City Round Up, T-Bone, will be on site all day meeting little cowpokes and participating in activities, along with the Canadian Finals Rodeo Street Team, so make sure you stop by and say howdy!o
