Walk for Children with Apraxia of Speech

Walk for Children with Apraxia of Speech

Starts:

Saturday, September 29
1:00 PM

Ends:

Saturday, September 29
4:00 PM

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a neurological speech disorder that affects a child's ability to clearly and correctly produce syllables and words. The most obvious thing that others notice is that the child has significantly limited and/or unclear speech. Very little research exists on appropriate and best treatment for children with apraxia of speech. CASANA funds pilot research grants so that researchers can begin studies to best help children as early as possible. Please join us for the Walk! There will be prizes for the top fundraisers.

The walk is being held to benefit the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA). All proceeds will benefit apraxia research and programs.
