Start planning for the Edmonton Heartbeat Run in support of the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute - come out on September 23, 2012 and participate in the 10k Run, 5k Run/Walk or 1k Fun Run.

The Edmonton Heartbeat Run is proud to support the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. Through the University Hospital Foundation, funds raised will help to ensure that patients from all over western Canada continue to benefit from the best talent, resources and passion to address all aspects of heart disease - from prevention to treatment and recovery. As a world leader in complex cardiac care and surgery, it is vital that the heart institute keep pace with rapidly changing technology and the latest knowledge and research discoveries.

This scenic course starts and finishes at Louise McKinney Park, just south of the Shaw Centre on Grierson Hill. Don't miss out on a great fall day - take in breathtaking view of the river valley as trees change colour and the leaves begin to fall.
