A Walk/Run for Child Survival

Rain or shine, on September 16, 2012, in Ottawa and Edmonton, there will be a 5 km walk/run in support of the Pakur Mother and Child Survival Project. 5 km is about the distance that mothers in Pakur need to walk to reach a health clinic.
This is a great event for families, friends, moms and tots in strollers. Following the event, there will be kids activities and refreshments. The event fundraising goal for year 1 of the Pakur Mother and Child Survival Project is $100,000. Donations over $10 will receive tax receipts.
