National Meetings Industry Day (NMID) is an annual event celebrated by eight cities across Canada. Members from the Canadian Chapters of Meetings Professionals International (MPI) celebrate with a variety of educational and networking activities focusing on the significance of the Canadian meetings industry and the value of meetings to the broader business community.
The meetings industry works year-round with local organizations and professional associations to target event planners in marketing Edmonton as the ideal event destination. Major Edmonton employers, as well as national and itnernational professional associations, contribute to the success of the city's meetings industry.
In celebration of this year's theme, engagement, the Greater Edmonton Chapter of MPI is proud to present a panel presentation: Major trends meeting and event professionals don't dare ignore!
