Under the artistic direction of Daniel Taylor, this Montreal unit returns to the Alberta capital to perform Purcell’s masterpiece, Dido and Aeneas. The sextet of three sopranos and a baritone, countertenor and tenor perform the three-act tragic opera about a fatal attraction between the widowed Queen of Carthage and Aeneas, a prince of Troy.
