Hanson an American pop band formed by three brothers are best known for the 1997 hit song "MMMBop" from their major label debut album Middle of Nowhere, which earned three Grammy nominations. Bono called their music "genius" and hip producers like the Dust Brothers and Stephen Lironi worked with them early on before millions of fans screamed their names and critics applauded them. Hanson's fifth studio album, Shout It Out was released last year is a collection of finely crafted, R&B flavoured pop/rock. The album produced and written exclusively by the band is augmented with special guests: Funk Brothers bassist Bob Babbitt, who played on some of Motown's greatest hits, and horn arranger Jerry Hey, who worked with Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Earth, Wind and Fire and many more.
