Edmonton is already home to many winter festivals and activities ? but we can do more to transform our city in to a world class northern city. So the City of Edmonton is developing a WinterCity Strategy. And John Furlong knows what it takes to inspire a community to transform itself. He created the vision and led the team that bid for, organized and staged the highly successful Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
Come to the Kick-Off Party, learn about how we?ll develop the Winter City Strategy and share your ideas for turning winter into an asset, so that we can all embrace and celebrate winter in Edmonton.
