The 49th Annual Quikcard Edmonton Minor Hockey Week will take place January 13-22, 2012!
Players are once again gearing up to take to the ice in the hope of claiming one of the nearly 1,400 gold medals that will be presented at the end of this year's tournament. A total of 518 teams including Novice, Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget levels are scheduled to play 739 games throughout the city during this 10 day event.
Always exciting, nearly 100 games went into overtime during last year's tournament and there were 184 shutouts and 3,951 goals scored.
As a lead-up to next year's highly anticipated 50th anniversary, this year's tournament is sure to be an exciting one!
