The Royal Bison is a craft & art fair based in Edmonton, Canada, that's been going on since May of 2007. It was founded and curated by illustrator, musician and publisher, Raymond E. Biesinger. Sadly, he's moved away to other pastures...
Since the summer of 2010, the Royal Bison has been handed over to three local creative-types willing to keep the Bison prancing along. They are Jeanie Andronyk, Josh Holinaty, and Vikki Wiercinski!
Four things anchor the fair: a $2 entry charge (to help cover rent), a locals-only focus, a socialistically low table fee ($35 for a half table, $70 for a full), and vendor selection that gravitates toward what hasn't been given a shot elsewhere.
