Come by the Hills, a traditional song (sung by Lorena McKennitt and Rita MacNeil) perfectly describes a music festival nestled in the beautiful Battle River Valley. The hills will be alive August 12 and 13 2011 when the second annual Come by the Hills Folk Festivaltakes place at Mistahiya. The Vermilion Folk Club and a host of amazing volunteers are bringing you a great line-up of Roots, Blues, Celtic and Folk musicians again this year!

We will start with a bang Friday night , Aug. 12 at 6:00 pm. Saturdays show starts at 10:00 am and continues through until 11:00 p.m. So we invite you to bring your friends, families and neighbors to the second Come by the Hills Folk Music Festival!

No Service Camping along the Battle River is available on a first come / first served basis at a fee of $10.00.

Mistahiya is 11 km off of HWY 41 between Wainwright and Vermilion. Keep an eye out for the signs, show happens rain or shine.
