NextGen is hosting Edmonton Community Challenge (ECC) again in partnership with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues. The ECC is a volunteer-driven event, promoting community spirit through friendly competition between community leagues throughout the city. The 2011 Event opened for Community League registration last week, and 22 teams have already thrown their hats into the ring to compete for the $5,000 grand prize. Posters are up in your community leagues, and online registration is now open. It's a great way to support local charities, get to know others in your community, and win prizes!
Picture this: your team earning points for taking snapshots with some of Edmonton's best landmarks and attractions! Get your cameras ready for a week-long Photo Scavenger Hunt, where each letter of the alphabet will take you to a different corner of the city. Each successful photograph will earn you more points in the run for top community league in the 2011 Edmonton Community Challenge. Teams are sure to have fun while getting to know their city at the same time! The photos will be submitted to the ECC via the website ecc.edmontonnextgen.ca. Download the Scavenger Hunt information packages from the website after 12:00pm on May 27th. A break down of point allocation for this event will be provided in this information package.
