Public Art Lecture: Ken Lum

Starts:

Thursday, May 26
7:00 PM

Ends:

Thursday, May 26
9:00 PM

As part of our Public Art Lecture Series, we are bringing in Vancouver based Ken Lum to lecture. Ken works in a number of media including painting, sculpture and photography. His art is conceptually oriented, and generally concerned with issues of identity in relation to the categories of language and portraiture. He was recently selected lead artist on the design team for the new Walterdale Bridge replacement scheduled for construction in 2013 and 2014 in Edmonton. For this lecture M.A.D.E. in Edmonton has partnered with the AGA, and the EAC, EDC, and EOTE have kindly joined in as sponsors. Without this generous support, this event would not be possible.
