DESCRIPTION:The annual Silly Summer Parade mixes Canada Day spirit with twi
 sted humor and good old-fashion fun.  The Silly Summer Parade will be foll
 owing the same route as 2009 starting at noon\, winding up at Queen Alexan
 dra School (7730 106 Street) for the Picnic in the Park Event. This fun fi
 lled afternoon features family activities including a jumping good time co
 urtesy of Inflatable Fun\, entertainment\, a fundraising Hot Dog Sales and
  of course Canada Day cake. The Picnic in the Park sees the addition of ca
 rnival games this year. All activities at the Picnic in the Park are free 
 of charge\, donations will be accepted for the Old Strathcona Foundation.
