A Halloween Extravaganza at the Edmonton Valley Zoo for older children (Recommended age 8-12). It's Halloween at the Valley Zoo and you're invited to the brand new Howl-O'-Wiener Roast to help celebrate this special day! Warm-up with a complimentary hot chocolate or if you're hungry treat yourself to a $1.00 hot dog! If it's a full moon, maybe the wolves will howl for you after an incredible wolf talk and demonstration. Stroll around the zoo and enjoy the haunting live music or relax and marvel at the Magnificent Magic. Enjoy amazing animal encounters with a variety of spooky animals including owls, snakes, lizard, rats, and if you're daring, handle a variety of creepy crawly insects from the Royal Alberta Museum! Take a break and relax while you get an airbrush tattoo and visit the terrifying touch table to learn about some of the scariest animals around. Watch the incredible fire dancers and jugglers and cheer on Lucy as she paints a Pumpkin Painting. Before you go home, drop off your old and unused cell phone and charger for recycling and you'll help us save endangered gorillas by preventing habitat loss due to the mining of materials needed in the production of new phones. For doing your part in helping us with this amazing project, you'll receive an entry ballot to win a Nintendo Wii! This is sure to be the most incredible Howl-O-Wiener Roast you've ever experienced!
