In this talk, behavioral psychologist and Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist Dr. Megan Maxwell will discuss a behavioral approach to pet behavior management and training. She will explain the important job of assessing the function of behavior before attempting to treat it, and will describe the role that triggers and consequences play in maintaining problem behavior. She also will discuss the role that owners can play in accidentally causing or contributing to problem behavior.
