ATB Financial presents Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo

On July 1, 2010, the Edmonton Valley Zoo will be celebrating Canada Day and its 51st birthday! Zoo-goers will experience a wonderful mix of entertainment and special surprises to help mark this happy occasion.

Guests can visit the Canadian animals at the zoo and then watch them receive a special enrichment treat. Award winning children's entertainers, The Smudge Fundaes will be performing throughout the day and will help us sing "Oh Canada." Make sure to bring your appetite and enjoy a slice of Canada's largest birthday cake. This massive edible wonder is impressive to see, but even better to taste!

For something a little more active, the little ones will love the massive inflatables, the spectacular animal sprinklers, the bubble blowing bash, or the brand new adventure bus and then it's off to the craft stops to construct a Canada Day crown or a clay critter. There will also be local sports celebrity autographs, Canadian Forces displays, animal encounters, educational talks, hands-on science experiments, face painting, and a variety of special 51st Birthday surprises!
