Shaping Our Region Symposium

Shaping Our Region: An Opportunity to Think Together, offers a unique opportunity for local policy makers and community leaders to engage with national and international experts on regional economic development. Sponsored by the University of Alberta and the Capital Region Board, this one-day symposium features world-renowned thinkers and practitioners who will share current research, best practices, and practical examples of regional economic strategies.

The presentations and interactive learning sessions, hosted by the City-Region Studies Centre, will prompt idea generation, discussion and networking. The output will contribute to the Capital Region Board?s implementation of the Capital Region Economic Roadmap.

In addition, the Capital Region Board will host a dinner to engage elected leaders and delegates to participate in the Capital Region Economic Roadmap process.
