Family Day at the Alberta Legislature

Spend a day with your family at the Alberta Legislature! In the pedway, children will enjoy a carnival with prizes, face painting, Kent Wong the magician and Sir Oliver the Owl. In the Gift Shop and Interpretive Centre you can check out the Alberta Women's Institute exhibit, enter to win Edmonton attractions prizes and explore the large variety of gifts, including books, souvenirs and Alberta made art and crafts. Head outside to enjoy the grounds! Take a horse drawn wagon ride, go skating or take a picture in the life size bobsled ice sculpture! Head back inside for some free hot chocolate and don't miss out on the free highlight tours of the Legislature Building ongoing every 10 minutes from noon to 3:30 pm.
Remember to pick up your Family Day Passports at participating downtown attractions. The passport entitles you to free ETS transportation between venues on Family Day and if you collect 3 stamps at various locations, you can win a $500 RESP from ATB Financial.
