Dungeons and Dragons is the original role playing adventure game, requiring a sense of adventure and good imagination. First published in 1974, the game has been revised and updated a number of times. The most recent edition was released in June 2008. Many of the concepts of computer role playing games such as Final Fantasy or World of Warcraft have their origins in Dungeons and Dragons.
