Edmonton Journal Book Fair & Writers' Festival

Starts:

Saturday, December 12
1:00 PM

Ends:

Saturday, December 12
4:00 PM

Join us from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the main floor atrium of the Edmonton Journal building, 10006 101st St., for an afternoon of readings, panel discussions, and question and answer sessions with some of the Journal’s published authors — and a chance to buy some great local books for the people on your holiday gift lists.

It’s your chance to meet and mingle with Journal staffers and freelancers Liane Faulder (The Long Walk Home), Terry McConnell (I’d Trade Him Again), Jim Hole (What Grows Here?), Debby Waldman (Clever Rachel and A Sack Full of Feathers), Rita Feutl (Rescue at Fort Edmonton), Marty Chan (The Marty Chan Mysteries), Satya Das (Green Oil), and Mohammed Al-Nasser (When Will I Awaken From This Life?).

Drop down to our sunny Journal atrium, do your Christmas shopping, courtesy of Laurie’s Book Company, have your books signed by your favourite Journal authors, and enjoy a free afternoon of great readings and great conversations about writing, hosted by Journal columnist Paula Simons.
