Latitude 53’s annual winter fundraising gala, The Fine Art of Schmoozy, returns on December 5th 2009. For the last eleven years, Schmoozy has been the ideal way to kick off the holiday party season with an evening of delicious cocktails, live music and entertainment, and a silent auction featuring works donated by some of Edmonton’s - and Canada’s - best artists, all in support of Latitude 53’s year-round gallery programming and activities.
This year, Schmoozy partners with a host of generous sponsors to put on a one-of-a-kind evening featuring mouthwatering cuisine from Haweli, Sabor Divino, Viphalay, and Kerstin’s Chocolates with exclusive Hennessy cocktail creations. As well as sporting a fine collection of donated art available for purchase in the silent auction, part of Latitude 53’s gallery space will be converted into a luxurious lounge where visitors can relax to smooth soul music and enjoy the food and drink. The evening is capped with musical performances by the Brett Miles Trio and guests. Dress up and come out for a winter night to remember.
Tickets for The Fine Art of Schmoozy are available from the gallery for $20 in advance ($15 for members), and at the door for $25.
