Christmas on the Square Holiday Light Up

Join the Downtown Business Association as they partner with the City of Edmonton to deliver one of the season's most anticipated holiday events. Saturday, November 14, from 1:00 pm until 6:00 p.m., Sir Winston Churchill Square will home to one of Downtown's biggest holiday events: Christmas on the Square Holiday Light Up!<br /><br />Visit the Square to enjoy shopping at the 104th Street City Market, warm drinks, Christmas choirs, and a variety of entertainment. Don’t miss seeing the candy cane switch being thrown by Mayor Stephen Mandel and Santa Claus to light up the annual Christmas tree and kick off an amazing fireworks show. The Art Gallery of Alberta will also be on site lighting their band new building in the heart of our Arts District.<br /><br />The Edmonton Food Bank will be collecting food donations and Santa’s Anonymous will be collecting new books and toys on-site during the event.
