World STONE Inc. Cake Walk is a unique Edmonton fundraiser that has become one of Edmonton’s most anticipated charity events. Honorary Chair, Lynn Mandel, invites you to the 4th Annual Cake Walk, an exciting runway show with a twist, a fashion show of stunning cake creations by some of our City’s finest pastry chefs. This year, ALL YOU NEED IS CAKE celebrates the Beatles and all things 60’s. Live and Silent Auction of one-of-a-kind experience packages augments the evening, but it is the runway show that provides side-splitting, unforgettable (and often spontaneous) moments as teams take to the runway with their cake creations. A panel of celebrity judges lead by NAIT Culinary School Program Head Vinod Varshney declares the winner. Will Lexus of Edmonton be retain their title, or will be they be displaced by perennial runner up Sutton Place?

Cake Walk is the major annual fundraiser supporting the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, offering a unique blend of community art programs, public gallery space and a studio program that supports over 100 artists with developmental disabilities. All proceeds raised at this event directly support operations. This is a special year for the Centre as we celebrate acquisition of a permanent new home on Alberta Avenue (9235 – 118th Avenue).
